Background and Award Information

New Mexico Environment Department is accepting applications for Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust funding. Eligible Mitigation Actions include replacing or repowering the following diesel vehicle and/or equipment categories Class 8 freight and drayage trucks, Class 4–8 buses, freight switchers, ferries or tugs, marine shorepower, Class 4–7 trucks, airport ground support equipment, forklifts and port cargo handling equipment, installing light duty charging, and providing match for DERA projects. Approximately $2,634,000 is available through this solicitation.
