Background and Award Information

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking qualified developers and operators to design, install, operate, and maintain DC fast charging stations at the Newark Liberty International Airport Ride Share Lot. The project will support the Port Authority's net-zero emissions by 2050 goal by providing EV charging infrastructure for for-hire vehicles and other airport users. The selected proposer will enter into a 10-year Host Site Agreement and Operating Permit, with space for up to 20 charging stalls, and will be responsible for construction, operations, maintenance, and revenue sharing with the Port Authority.
