Background and Award Information

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has announced that the New Jersey Zero Emission Vehicle (NJ ZEV) Financing Program is now open for purchaser applications. The NJ ZEV Financing Program offers fixed, low-interest rate loans to assist organizations overcome the cost premium often inherent in adopting zero emission vehicles instead of utilizing standard combustion engine options. Loans range from $50,000 to $500,000 for up to a maximum of 100% of eligible vehicle costs. The program is funded with an initial total of $25 million, with $15 million set aside for Overburdened Community Applicants. The program will remain open on a rolling basis until available funds are exhausted, or until 3 years after application launch.
