‍Background and Award Information

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has announced a call for projects to support near-term airport infrastructure improvements to prepare for the next generation of aviation activity. Eligible projects should demonstrate how the proposed charging infrastructure will prepare the airport to support future electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVOTL) operations along with attracting operators or private-sector partners. Airports must be a public-use airport location within the 12-county NCTCOG region. The maximum award per applicant is $200,000. Eligible expenses include the cost of the eVOTL charger and other infrastructure directly required to install and make the charger operational.
