Background and Award Information

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has announced $15 million in funding through the Innovation for Affordable Building Electrification program. This program aims to support the development and demonstration of innovative building technologies that improve energy efficiency, electrification, load flexibility, and indoor air quality in existing buildings. Eligible applicants include researchers, educational institutions, manufacturers, laboratories, building owners, and trade associations, with priority given to solutions benefiting disadvantaged communities.
