Background and Award Information

The Oregon Department of Transportation has announced the availability of $3 million in EPA funding to install electric vehicle chargers at multifamily housing, workplaces and public areas within Oregon through the Community Charging Rebates program. Rebates cover $8,000 per charging port or up to 80% of eligible projects costs, whichever is lower.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants include businesses, nonprofits, public entities, Tribes, and owners of multifamily home complexes.

Important Dates

Applications will open November 6, 2025 and be evaluated on a first come, first served basis until March 31, 2026 or funds are depleted.
