Background and Award Information

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has announced the availability of approximately $6 million in funding to swap older diesel vehicles, engines or equipment for similar, newer, cleaner zero-emission vehicles, technologies or retrofit exhaust controls. Funding will be made available via the Volkswagen settlement and expected federal DERA funding. Eligible applicants include Oregon businesses, organizations, Tribal Nations, local governments and individuals with medium- and heavy-duty diesel fleets with model years between 1992 and 2009.
