Background and Award Information

The Shawneetown Regional Port District has released an RFP seeking qualified vendors to supply, deliver, and commission a Build America, Buy America (BABA)-compliant electric material handler to replace diesel-powered equipment and modernize cargo-handling operations. This procurement is funded in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity and is therefore subject to applicable federal and State of Illinois procurement requirements. The project aims to support zero-emission equipment deployment at port facilities. Respondents will be responsible for equipment design, delivery, commissioning, training, and ongoing support, with proposals evaluated through a competitive procurement process.
