Background and Award Information

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has released an RFP for Round 4 of funding under NEVI. Kentucky was allocated $70M in EV charging formula funds and approximately $55M in funds have been allocated thus far. Kentucky is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to participate in the deployment of direct current fast charging infrastructure across the state. Funding may be used to upgrade existing charging stations or the development of new stations in the 32 outlined sited zones. Eligible proposers must be eligible to do business in Kentucky and state agencies are not eligible to apply. Each proposal can include only one charging project site but proposers may submit proposals for more than one zone.
