Background and Award Information

The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District is currently accepting grant applications to replace qualifying heavy-duty vehicles and equipment with new low- or zero-emission versions in the following categories: school buses, off-road construction and cargo handling equipment, agricultural equipment, commercial harbor craft, locomotives, battery electric charging or hydrogen fueling infrastructure, and on-road trucks. Eligible applicants include owners and operators of heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
