Background and Award Information

The Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District has announced the availability of grants between $10,000 and $250,000 to replace diesel trucks, buses, and off-road equipment; repower diesel marine and stationary agricultural engines; install charging and hydrogen fueling infrastructure; add zero-emission buses to school bus fleets; and replace locomotives or stationary emergency generators.

All projects must be voluntary and surplus to any rule or regulation. Public, private, and nonprofit entities are eligible to apply and may submit a maximum of one application per program category. Funded equipment must operate within Santa Barbara County.
