Background and Award Information

Eligible projects for this funding announcement include the purchase of new zero-emission Class 4 and above on-road trucks and off-road yard trucks, as well as the new installation of zero-emission charging or fueling station infrastructure. Funding may also be used for decommissioning of existing non-zero-emission fueling infrastructure and conversion to zero-emission charging or fueling infrastructure, or expansion of existing zero-emission equipment for trucks and yard trucks that serve warehouses. Eligible truck purchase applicants are warehouse operators, fleet operators, and zero-emission truck fueling and charging infrastructure operators (excluding dealerships) that serve warehouses. All funded projects must maintain a geographic connection to the Source Receptor Area from which funds are sourced for at least three years, beginning when the unit is placed into service.
