Background and Award Information

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has released the 2nd round of funding under the Volkswagen Diesel Settlement Environmental Mitigation Trust. Vehicles eligible for replacement or repower include Class 4-7 local freight trucks, Class 8 freight trucks and port drayage trucks, and Class 4-8 transit, shuttle, and school buses. A maximum of $3M for all-electric projects and $1.5M for other fuel types is available per request.
