Background and Award Information

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is now accepting applications under the Texas Emission Reduction Plan’s Alternative Fueling Facilities Program. There is $12M in funding available to encourage the construction and reconstruction of alternative fueling facilities, including hydrogen and electric, within the 88 eligible counties. Individuals, state and local governments, corporations, and other legal entities are eligible to apply but must be located in the counties in the Clean Transportation Zone.
