Background and Award Information

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is now accepting applications under the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan Rebates Grant Program. Eligible applications include individuals, state and local governments, and other legal entities. Eligible projects include on-vehicle electrification projects and the purchase or lease of new near zero or zero emission vehicles. Optional add-on funding is available for onsite refueling infrastructure associated with eligible replacement and new purchase projects. A minimum of 55% of the grand-funded vehicle operation must occur in one or more of the nonattainment and affected counties outlined. Funding is first come, first served.
