Background and Award Information

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) has $400,000 remaining in funding under its Granite State Clean Fleets (GSCF) grant program. The program provides reimbursement grants to scrap and replace older diesel-powered vehicles, engines, and equipment with newer, cleaner alternative-fuel or diesel units, as well as marine shore power installation projects. The program has been opened to non-profit organizations and private entities in good standing with the New Hampshire Secretary of State, provided their projects deliver substantial public, economic, and environmental benefits to the state, in addition to previously eligible public entities.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all funds have been obligated.
