Background and Award Information

Virginia Energy has opened the second round of funding through the Electric Vehicle Charging Assistance Program designed to increase access to electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), address gaps in charging availability, and deliver community benefits that support broader electric vehicle adoption. This funding round specifically is looking for projects that not only install charging equipment but also demonstrate project readiness, improve accessibility, report on charger usage and community impact, and help overcome barriers to electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) deployment in Virginia.
