Background and Award Information

The Washington Department of Transportation has announced the availability of approximately $22.5 million in funding for direct-current fast charging corridor projects. Eligible projects must install new or upgraded electric vehicle direct-current fast charging equipment within one travel mile of a state route in Washington with a minimum of four networked charging ports delivering 150 kw simultaneous charging. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, governmental entities, and tribes, in partnership with a private sector organization.
