The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is soliciting feedback on a draft version of an upcoming competitive grant opportunity for medium and heavy duty EV charging stations. The draft opportunity will fund public electric vehicle charging stations on Interstates 5 and 84. ODOT is soliciting feedback from potential eligible applicants (EV service providers, site hosts, utilities, local governments, Tribes, etc.), medium- and heavy-duty fleet owners, commercial vehicle operators, and anyone else interested in medium- and heavy-duty EV charging station projects in Oregon. Feedback can be provided via email or by participation in an upcoming webinar, held at 11am PST on April 22, 2026. Written comments must be received by email by May 15, 2026. Oregon DOT predicts the opportunity will be released in June 2026, and include $18.2 million in funding for 3 charging stations.
