The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) is proud to announce its partnership with 18 transit agencies across the United States that were awarded funding through the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) FY2023 Low or No Emission Vehicle Program (Low-No) and the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Competitive Program (Buses and Bus Facilities).

CTE recently hosted its highly anticipated Zero-Emission Transportation Policy Summit on June 21st and 22nd in Washington, D.C. The event brought together CTE's esteemed members, Board of Directors, Policy Board, and dedicated staff for an immersive experience filled with insights from industry experts and engaging discussions with Congressional and federal staff.

CTE and Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) are collaborating to replace GCTD's outdated compressed natural gas (CNG) powered buses in order to improve route efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve air quality in Ventura County, California.
