On September 29–30, transit agencies from across the U.S. and Canada traveled to the Puget Sound region and the picturesque city of Everett, WA, for the ZEBRA Fall Roundtable. Co-hosted by member agencies, Community Transit and King County Metro and organized by the Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance (ZEBRA), this gathering marked the largest ZEBRA roundtable to date—bringing together representatives from 22 agencies to exchange insights and explore the latest in zero-emission transit technologies.

The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) is excited to bring the ZEB Con Roadshow to the New York Public Transit Association (NYPTA) 2025 Annual Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY! This special track of zero-emission bus sessions will provide transit agencies and industry partners with actionable insights, real-world lessons, and strategies for accelerating the transition to zero-emission fleets.

The 2025 School Transportation News (STN) EXPO West brought together leaders from across the school transportation industry to share lessons learned, challenges, and opportunities as districts move toward cleaner, more efficient fleets.

On October 21 & 22, the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) hosted our Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA. The event brought together Members, the Board of Directors, Policy Board, and Staff for strategic networking and exclusive updates on CTE's latest initiatives and future direction.

In a rapidly evolving industry, agencies are increasingly focusing on fleet diversification to boost flexibility and resilience, all while addressing their unique operational needs. The event featured six industry innovators who shared valuable presentations on their latest offerings, demonstrating how these solutions can aid in planning and managing mixed fleets.

The 12th annual Zero-Emission Bus Conference (ZEB Con), hosted by CTE, took place in Philadelphia from August 27-29, 2024, bringing together industry leaders to advance the electrification of public and private transportation fleets.

The Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance (ZEBRA) partnered with the Regional Transit Service (RTS) in Rochester, NY to host a hydrogen-focused roundtable, "Pivoting to Hydrogen," on June 11th and 12th. Representatives of 24 transit agencies across the US and Canada gathered to share experiences on hydrogen fuel cell electric bus (FCEB) deployments and learn about the fueling and infrastructure technologies offered to support zero-emission bus (ZEB) programs.

The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) is bringing the 12th annual Zero Emission Bus Conference (ZEB Con) to the East Coast for the first time! August 27-29 in Philadelphia, PA, ZEB Con will convene bus and shuttle fleet managers, industry professionals, and climate advocates from around the world.
