Modernizing Transit Fleets: Electrification Guide for Virginia

In partnership with Kimley Horn, CTE worked with a project team to develop an Electrification Transition Guide and toolkit for the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation to help agencies plan and execute zero-emission fleet transitions.

The COMET Powering the Future: Managing Mixed Fleets with Battery and Hydrogen Solutions

In partnership with Linde, CTE is supporting The COMET in deploying two battery electric buses and two hydrogen fuel cell buses, along with the necessary charging and hydrogen refueling infrastructure, to advance a mixed zero-emission fleet in Columbia.

Prince George County Battery Electric Bus Deployment

CTE, in partnership with PGC and Scale Microgrids, is deploying 20 battery electric buses, including 10 from New Flyer, upgrading the main transit depot with new charging infrastructure and a microgrid, and adding on-route charging at five locations to expand battery electric bus operations.

Solano County Transit's Zero-Emission Bus Initiative

CTE, in partnership with GILLIG, is assisting SolTrans with deploying 14 GILLIG battery electric buses, providing project management, deployment validation, bus build support, and key performance indicators to ensure a successful transition to zero-emission transit.
