Santa Rosa Municipal Transition Plan

Through partnership with NV5, CTE developed a transition plan for the City of Santa Rosa’s municipal fleet. CTE conducted a market review and fleet analysis to evaluate the shift to an all-electric municipal fleet, while NV5 led the infrastructure and cost analysis. NV5 will share insights on navigating California’s Advanced Clean Fleets regulation.

Hawaii DOT Battery Electric Bus Deployment

CTE is supporting the deployment of electric buses for the counties of Kaua’i, Maui, and Hawai’i. This project, which started in 2021, first included development of a zero emission transition plan for each county, followed by the deployment of electric buses. Each county received four electric buses, for a total deployment of twelve electric buses across the state. Transworld Associates will share its experience assisting with the development of bus specifications during the procurement stage as well as providing in-plant vehicle inspections during each county’s bus builds.

CityBus Fuel Cell Electric Bus Deployment

CTE is managing the deployment of eight fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs), the installation of a hydrogen refueling solution, and bus maintenance facility upgrades for CityBus of Greater Lafayette in Indiana. This project features one of the first deployments of an extended-range New Flyer FCEB, expected to be able to travel over 450 miles on one fill. DLZ will share their experience providing site design, preparation, and construction expertise on the project.
