The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) will support the University of Georgia (UGA) in the build process for additional New Flyer battery electric buses. CTE will monitor and provide feedback as requested by UGA throughout the design, pre-production, build, testing, and acceptance stages. This involvement will include reviewing configuration, specifications, acceptance criteria, inspection processes, and the build schedule. CTE will also facilitate regular status update meetings with UGA and New Flyer once the build is underway.

CTE will also facilitate pre- and post-delivery Buy America audits to ensure the buses meet Buy America requirements. CTE will also facilitate pre- and post-delivery inspections, addressing any issues that arise during the build process and after delivery and will monitor the resolution of any issues. Additionally, CTE will be available on-call to provide technical guidance throughout the project.
