FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen an unprecedented halt to human movement. While the economic impacts of this grand pause are hard felt, the environmental impacts have provided us all with a glimpse of what the world should look like. As I write this, the L.A. skyline is more pristine than we ever thought imaginable.
The beauty of what CTE has to offer is the prospect of clear skylines across America without the need for a grand pause. Zero emission transportation technologies offer the promise of efficiently moving people and goods without the harmful emissions and greenhouse gases associated with this mobility.
In the midst of the current crisis, I find hope in our collective pursuit of a better tomorrow. I am thankful for business and political leaders around the globe who are advancing smart investments to protect our communities both this year and for years to come. At CTE, we are committed more than ever to our mission. Working together with our members, clients, and partners, we can tackle the climate crisis and build a sustainable transportation ecosystem that protects public health and the environment for generations to come.
Our thoughts are with those of you who are experiencing the impacts of COVID-19 -- both personally and professionally. We are doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of the people and places we cherish.
Looking forward,
Dan
