Atlanta, GA — The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) is pleased to invite Class 4-8 truck operators who are considering zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) to submit expressions of interest for a complimentary ZEV Transition Plan. This opportunity is made possible through a Strategic Industry Grant from the C.H. Robinson Foundation, which supports nonprofit organizations committed to advancing the supply chain and logistics industry through innovation and sustainability.

CTE’s ZEV Fleet Transition Plans are designed around the specific needs of each company’s existing fleet and operations. The funding allows CTE to provide in-depth technical advisory services, evaluating critical factors such as ZEV feasibility, infrastructure requirements, total cost of ownership, and emissions reductions. The initiative will culminate in a tailored ZEV Transition Plan, offering the selected fleet operator a clear roadmap for supporting sustainability goals, including schedules and cost estimates for ZEV procurements and installation of supporting infrastructure.

“CTE is honored to receive this Strategic Industry Grant from the C.H. Robinson Foundation,” said Dan Raudebaugh, Executive Director of CTE. “This award underscores the importance of collaboration in driving the supply chain industry toward a cleaner, more sustainable future. Together, we can create meaningful change by equipping fleet operators with the tools and strategies they need to successfully transition to zero-emission vehicles.”

Beyond supporting an individual operator, the project is designed to provide broader benefits to the industry. The insights and methodologies developed through this initiative can be used as a replicable model to guide future zero-emission transitions for freight fleets.

This collaboration between CTE and the C.H. Robinson Foundation highlights the power of strategic partnerships to drive systemic change in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors. By embedding sustainability into strategic planning, the initiative seeks to create a ripple effect, delivering both environmental and economic benefits across the industry.

Commercial fleets are invited to apply by submitting our Expression of Interest form by Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Selected applicants will be notified by mid-February. For more information about the opportunity or to apply, please visit the Expression of Interest form →.
